I stumbled upon this little gem this evening...Knomos Commercial. I had done the VO record last year, it's always interesting to see (or should I say hear ;) how it turns out!
I do love doing voice over, it's a completely different beast to on camera work, both have a special place in my heart though!

Another great year at E3 come and gone. I really can't believe how fast time flies, E3 crept up so fast and then it was gone in a flash.
It was extra special being there this year, with all the new trailers Goldtooth had out on the floor, but the cherry on top for me was seeing our Deus Ex: Mechanical Apartheid short film/trailer on the big screens around the convention.
On our last day at E3 we got interviewed by CG Society, which is always a good time ;)
And then no trip to LA is complete without a stop off at Disneyland, so made my way over to the park in the blazing hot, but amazing 32 degrees and immersed myself in the world of Disney!
Another project I had the privilege of producing. The concept behind the piece was to create a consistent stream of content for a non stop 48 hour stretch, that the public could vote on what they wanted to see throughout the 2 days, as well as decipher codes, and effect the camera angle they were seeing.
A mighty task to say the least, but a project we thoroughly enjoyed concurring.
This marketing piece was the first of it's kind, and it's heart warming to see the effort rewarded by the industry and fans.
Our work on Deus Ex: Mankind Divided's #Cantkillprogress is a fortunate recipient of a Silver Lotus Award, as well as a Gold Game Marketing Award for 'Best Use of Social Media Campaign'!
It's amazing seeing the fruits of our labour recognized. Big ups to my amazing team at Goldtooth Creative that brought this to life with me! :)

It's amazing it's now out in the world. This trailer/short film was a work of love, many many hours went into bringing it to life.
Big ups to the amazing team at Goldtooth Creative, specifically director Kody G Sabourin, and creative editor Mark Relf. I really enjoyed producing this piece, and acting in it. Such a great cast and crew we had involved, with stunning Vancouver BC as the backdrop.
It's rewarding to hear all the amazing comments from fans of the game and also people new to the game, say that they want to see it in a longer form, such as a series or a feature, and reading fun reviews like the one on Forbes calling it the "best live action game trailer ever"! Only a week out in the world and already about 4 million views between the youtube and Facebook video, what fun!
We started on this piece back in December 2015 and now here we are in June. It was 6 months of hard work, but worth it, so proud of this short <3
Made our way down to LA for E3 this year, great energy! Enjoyed seeing all the games, and playing a few. Was excited for the release of Deus Ex: Mankind Divided GamePlay Trailer, produced by yours truly! Met lots of wonderful people while there, look forward to going again next year!
What a great experience it was working with the talented folks at Eidos Montreal, they ooz creativity and have such enthusiasm for their newest upcoming release, Deus Ex: Mankind Divided, and I must say rightfully so!
I was stoked to produce this part of their tease/announcement, and now with the Twitch experience over, it's interesting to reflect back on the journey, and realize how groundbreaking it was, we set a new benchmark for the Twitch experience, to think over 1.4 million people tuned in to the twitch.tv/cantkillprogress interactive experience within a 48 hour period is exciting!
First and foremost, Happy New Year! And now on to business ;) End of last year a super adorable trailer I helped produce was released for one of Disney's new free to play mobile games....Dodo Pop! I thought the little dodo bird characters were so cute, I really couldn't wait to download the game myself and play it, and it is addictive, you have been warned! A little late, but better than never! :)
The No Mercy music video, is finally released! What a great process it was, I must say a long one, but still a really great one. Very proud of the work on it, and oh so thankful to all who were involved, so happy it's out in the world! In case you missed it, here it is again!
Well it's about 11:43pm, and I up sitting in bed, working on pulling my site together. This is something I have been thinking about for a while and have come close to doing, though other tasks always seem to take on a greater importance, like making dinner...or push ups...or sleep, though tonight seemed like the perfect time to not postpone any longer, now here I am forging ahead pulling together my online presence for Kory T Darnel.
I guess to sum it up in a sentence, creating or being apart of beautiful, or interesting or even a little odd/quirky content is what I love!
As the site develops and more projects are added, I hope they inspire others, or people enjoy what has been created. Like you, you wonderful human being for even reading this post, I look forward to sharing what I've created with you!
Here is to a great 2014, I look forward to seeing how it grows!
